We would like to inform you that we plan to sunset the current connection of e-domizil and atraveo to the software of your choice (channel manager, PMS) in the next few months. The estimated timeline is during the summer, foreseeably at the end of June.


You don’t need to worry, though: your visibility on e-domizil and atraveo can continue to be guaranteed through HomeToGo.  

 

As you know, e-domizil and atraveo are now part of the HomeToGo Group. The HomeToGo technology is already the backbone of our organization and thanks to this we will ensure a smooth transition.

 

What do you need to do? We will take care of enabling your connection via HomeToGo on the e-domizil and atraveo websites once the technical migration is complete. We however want to make sure everything works out smoothly and that your performance will continue to be as expected on all websites related to the HomeToGo Group brands: our colleagues at HomeToGo partnerrelations@hometogo.com will be in touch shortly to lay out the plan with you.  

 

What does this mean for you? It is important for you to know that, once the switch happens, the modalities of your connection to e-domizil and atraveo will switch to the set-up of your HomeToGo integration.



 If you are using the HomeToGo Integrated Payments solution (i.e. HomeToGo charges the guest and is merchant of records):

 

The guests will continue to be able to pay for the booking directly via the HomeToGo connection and HomeToGo will act as merchant of records. Please be aware that, after the switch, HomeToGo will not be taking care of the Inkasso/Encashment of the payment: if the guest ends up not completing the payment or not paying for the reservation in full, this will result in a cancellation. Any efforts to get in touch with the guest and encourage them to finalize the payment will need to be handled on your end. Additionally, the invoice for the booking – if required – will be issued by you, as you will own the booking and not HomeToGo.


 
 If you are charging the guest directly for the payment of the booking:

 

Currently, your HomeToGo integration does not include the direct handling of payments by HomeToGo. Please be aware that, after the switch, the guests will not be able to pay for the booking directly to HomeToGo, which means HomeToGo will not be the merchant of records for the transaction. Instead, the guest will pay directly to you through the secure payment integration implemented through the software of your choice.



If you’d prefer to have HomeToGo be the merchant of records and handle the payments accordingly, with a better user experience and consequently more bookings, as well as reduced operational costs on your end, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at partnerrelations@hometogo.com to discuss alternative solutions.  


What about the bookings with atraveo / e-domizil?

 

All existing bookings and the ones received until the transfer will be carried out according to the current contract conditions with atraveo / e-domizil. You will continue to have access to your dashboard and bookings overview also after the switch and the disconnection. After the last check-out of your guest, we will deactivate your account.
