Welcome to the HomeAway/VRBO connection requirements.
Minimum number of objects to be conected directly with VRBO group (ex HomeAway) is 5!
Before you start with integration make sure that:
1. Set Geo location
2. Payment terms
3. Property price needs to be in EUR
4. Description and title needs to be filled out
5. Cancellation policy
6. Amenities
7. Photos
8. Rooms

1. Set Geo location
2. determine the percentage of reservation price that needs to be pay at booking and before checking. Don't forget to write how many days before arrival reservation must be payed. Total amount needs to be 100%.
3. In object details change currency in EUR
4. Write description of your object. Keep in mind that it needs to have minimum 700 signs. Title of description should have minimum 25 signs.
IMPORTANT: ONLY THESE LANGUAGES ARE ACCEPTED:
GERMAN, ITALIAN, FRENCH, SPANISH, POLISH, RUSSIAN, DENMARK, NETHERLAND
WHICH MEANS IF SOME GUEST LETS SAY RUMANIAN WANTS TO BOOK A PLACE VIA VRBO IT WILL HAVE ENGLISH VERSION. FOR THAT REASON IT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO HAVE LANGUAGES LIKE: CROATIAN, SLOVENIA, CZECH...
5. Fill real estate and choose "Cancellation policy". HomeAway/VRBO has different policy. Please choose one.
6. Add amenities - click on each object in myRent to add amenities.
Add all amenities you have. Amenities for Holidu are marked with their logo next to it.
7. Add pictures - VRBO accepts up to 100 photos
8. To add ROOMS please got to property-general and fill out fallowing fields:
Fill out: Bedrooms, Living room, Toilets, Bathrooms:
Then go to property - rooms:
You can also add manual rooms. You can click ADD NEW ROOM
When you added a new room you can add room DETAILS.
When clicking on EDIT it will pop up a new window where you can quickly add room description, amenities etc
*IMPORTANTPrivate bathroom in bedroom (EN-SUITE) it will not calculate is as the complete number of bathrooms in a property. If the property has 2 bathrooms (one is EN-SUITE and one is separate), you need to add 2 bathrooms!!!
To add EXTRA rooms (like veranda, kitchen, living room) outside you add in in myRent under property details-room-ADD ROOM/ROOM TYPE
*TIPP: If you have the same property with the same rooms, you can just click on COPY ROOM TO and it will copy data to the property which you decided to copy to.

10. To make sure that all data is correctly added, please find a check list under:
Settings - Registry - Channel manager-Channel manager - Object status
Clicking on object status you will have list of properties which are connected to HomeAway/VRBO (not to be worried, the same list is valid for other OTA's - Holidu, HomeToGo, Agoda, e-domizil...) This is just for you to check if all data is good. All fields must be green and filled with data.
